Northeast Ohio small business owners can now apply for Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses 11-session course beginning at Cuyahoga County Community College in September 2012. Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is a highly practical business management education program that helps entrepreneurs develop skills they need to grow a company. Selected participants receive a series of one-on-one business advising sessions from dedicated professionals to help develop a tailored plan for growth.

Applications are being accepted until Monday, July 2.

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is designed for business owners with limited resources who have a business poised for growth. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to growing their business and creating jobs within their community. Business owners eligible to apply for the program generally have been in business for two years or more and typically have at least four employees and a revenue stream of $150K to $4 million per year.

This education program provides entrepreneurs greater access to business education, financial capital and business support services. Participants can expect to receive a practical business education where the coursework can be applied directly after each session. The program offers access to peer learning, one-on-one business advising and the opportunity to access growth capital.

And it's free. Selected participants receive a full scholarship to the program.
